We are reading Romeo & Juliet still.  It is done mostly in class, but there may be some line translation assignments this week.  Also, after each act is completed, there will be a showing of a film version of that act.  Also, quizzes will be given a “pop” quizzes to ensue understanding and that the students are following along and paying attention.

*No set h/w or certainty with how far we will get.  It is dependent upon the class and their understanding.

We will be reading by Thursday.  In this unit it is hard to determine how much
we get through a day due to the variability in understanding from class to
class as well as from Act to Act.  Some
are easier to understand than others.

Most of Romeo and Juliet is

We are currently reading Stargirl.  This week the students will be responsible for reading chapters 10- 16.  We do read some of it in class together.
