All my students took their Discovery test today and their ETAs are tomorrow. The nine weeks end tomorrow March 15, all make-up tests, quizzes, and homework needs to be made up by tomorrow.

Advanced Geometry will be starting a new chapter on Monday. Integrated Math II will finish Chapter 4 before Spring Break and Pre-Calculus will also finish their chapter. Geometry (4th period) will take their Chapter 10 test on Thursday and Integrated Math I will also take their test on Thursday then they will begin work in the Algebra I book.

I hope everyone had a great holiday and is ready to begin a new semester. Most of my classes will be taking their ETAs this week and beginning new chapters.
Geometry took their ETA before Christmas therefore they started a new chapter on Monday, Right Triangles and Trigonometry.
Pre-Calculus will take their ETA on friday, we are finishing the chapter on matrices with a quiz on Wednesday.
Integrated Math II took their ETA today and will finish Chapter 9 next week. Tomorrow we will learn about discriminants.
Integrated Math I took their ETA today. We will begin a new chapter on Real Numbers and Right Triangles tomorrow.

This week my students will be taking their second Discovery Test on Wednesday (except my fourth hour geometry class which took it today). The test has various questions covering PreAlgebra, Algebra, Geometry and Algebra II. As my students are at various levels the test can be challenging please try your best. This test will be used to determine if there are any defiencies before the ACT and help adjust the curriculum accordingly.

Welcome Back

I am very happy to be back in school, meeting new students and seeing the old. All of my classes have started off well and are finishing their first chapter. In fact, Integrated Math I and II have taken their Chapter test this week and turned in their binders. Geometry will have their test on Friday, Honors Geometry on Monday and PreCalculus on Wednesday, their binders will be due the day of the test. Assignments are given everyday and I give each student an assignment sheet for the Chapter. I will try to post homework assignments also in case someone left their assignment sheet at home. Hope to see you at Open House!
