We will be doing an end of the year project. You will be required to make a personal version of the video we watched in class that applies to you and the events in your lifetime.

As discussed in class you may work with a partner and the project will be due next Tuesday and Wednesday. You will have classtime to work on it everyday until then, I have the laptop lab reserved for us each day.

Keep up the hard work non our study guide/web-quest over the IL Const. I will be checking Lessons 6-10 on Thursday in class and then we will study for you test.

Illinois Constitution

May 2nd, 2013

Keep up with your webquest/packet that we have been working on in class. You need to have all sections through 5 done for class on Monday. We will discuss the first 6 sections in class on Monday and finish the packet in class on Tuesday. Wed we will review lessons 6-12 and then on Thursday we will review for the whole constitution test.

There is no quiz this week, however you will be taking the Illinois Constitution test NEXT Friday, so I recommend tyhat you use your packet to study from.

Quiz Tomorrow

We will have our weekly quiz tomorrow, it will be over all the notes we have taken so far. It will cover 85% of the constitution test and will be a good indicator or where you stand.

We will be finishing up with an activity abou the Presidential Cabinet on Monday, then we will review Tuesday and Wednesday with the test on Thursday.

Happy Valentine’s Day….

Tomorrow for your quiz be prepared to explain why Germany accepted Adolf Hitler and the Nazis as the leaders in Germany. Be sure to include examples of the social, political and economic factors/motivators of the German people.

And compare and contrast the difference between the Nazi propaganda from before the war to the propaganda that was produced and distributed during the war.

For EC: Tell me about the Nacht der langen Messer or “Night of the long Knives” and the Kristallnacht or “Night of the Broken Glass” (copying from your notes will not get you credit on this)
