The Grant Park Middle/High School Library is open every school day from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., or by special appointment. The focus of the library is to encourage reading and research by providing a fully automated facility that promotes learning and technical assistance. Please check the schedule page for available library times.

Students: During the day, all students must have a pass to come to the library.
Student who do not come to the library with a pass will be sent back to class. Since students at Grant Park do not have study halls, we encourage them to sign up during Directed Studies and a pass will be issued to them. Students do not need a pass to use the library after school.

Students are allowed to check out one library book each day. Each student is allowed to have maximum of three books checked out at any given time. The checkout period is two weeks. Students who have three books checked out will not be allowed to check out any more books until they have returned at least one book. Students with overdue books will not be allowed to check out any more books until the overdue materials have been returned. The replacement cost for lost or damaged books is $20.

Students in 6th through 8th grade are introduced to keyboarding and guided research skills appropriate to their age level. Students will also learn the features of the Microsoft Office Program consisting of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and PowerPoint.
