Reading–students took ETA for 4th quarter, discussed/reviewed ABC projects, finished reading “The Phantom Tollbooth” and began watching the video of it.
Language Arts-presented their topics of the research papers; watched more of “The Phantom Tollbooth”
ETA for Language Arts is tomorrow–research paper questions, indefinite pronoun agreement, and homophones

Reading–continued reading “The Phantom Tollbooth” we will finish tomorrow and begin video after the ETA (short 25 questions–literary terms, context clues and reading comprehension)
Language Arts-corrected research papers on point recovery paper. Hopefully students learned from their mistakes and can earn some points back for their explanations of their mistakes. ETA on Friday–research paper and writing questions, homophones, and indefinite pronouns

Language Arts- handed back pronoun quizzes and research papers–do point recovery paper by Wednesday end of class

Language Arts- took an indefinite pronoun quiz; reviewed homophones with a jeopardy game; students are to finish the review worksheet (should have finished in class, but if not, they need to finish before class on Tuesday)

Reading–read Lob’s Girl and compare and contrast the relationships and the sacrifice in the two texts by producing an essay of at least 10 sentences.
Language Arts–typed ABC projects in the lab. Projects are now due Monday, May 20 at the end of the hour.

Language Arts–editing paragraph; model work together with indefinite pronouns; HOMEWORK finish packet–part B on page 3 is extra credit! Because I am still working on grading the research papers, I am letting the students have until Monday, May 20th for their ABC projects. They will be due at the end of the hour on Monday, May 20th
