English I:
Next week we will be continuing in our novel The Light in the Forest. Homework for Friday was for the students to read chapters 8 &9 for Monday and Tuesday.
Next week we will finish up the novel, reading two chapters for homework every time we meet, and concluding the novel together on Friday and the following Monday.

English II:
Next week we will be continuing our novel To Kill a Mockingbird. This is a literary classic and I hope that you are all starting to enjoy it.
For the next time that we all meet both classes must have Chapters 5 & 6 read. Be ready for a class discussion.
Next week we will be progressing through the novel. At the end of this week (Oct 18-22) and the beginning of next, we will be through PART I of the novel. This includes chapters 1-11.
Be working on your projects so they do not sneak up on you at the end of the novel.
