6th Grade Geography

We started off the week by taking our Ch. 6 test. We now move into Ch. 7 and 8, which covers the various regions of the United States and Canada. For this unit we will be doing small group projects. Each group chose a region that they will become experts on. They will then present their region to the class. One presentation will happen each day. They will have two more class periods to work on this in class. Then we will begin with the Northeast U.S. As we go through each region, the students will complete their homework for each section. Any work that is not completed in class will need to be accomplished outside of class, but that will only be necessary for any “extra” work they want to put into it.
